Financial Accounting Manager

Our client is a large international oil and gas group who are now looking to appoint a crucial position for their finance division. This position is integral in managing the group accounting function for the group. Managing a team of qualified accountants, you will be responsible for leading the core function and have overall responsibility of the GL. You will need to have excellent understanding of IFRS, be a strong technical accountant with group accounting and consolidation experience. Knowledge of ERP systems and process improvements is essential. Experience of working in a multinational, multi-regional environment is essential along with the ability to communicate effectively with senior directors and the board. To be considered for this position you will to be a qualified accountant from an accountancy practice with post qualification experience at least ten years. You will either have significant industry experience doing group consolidations for large multinationals or come straight from an accounting practice at a manager level. You will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, managing, mentoring staff with the ability to liaise with top management. http://www.charterhouseme.ae
