Job Description:
Welcomes guests by determining their coffee interests and needs. Create an energy that is both welcoming and exciting.
Takes pride in offering our guests a diverse and seasonally-inspired beverage menu, a warm conversation, and helpful suggestions.
Confidently discusses all menu items with guests, and assist guest’s queries in an informative and helpful way.
Prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies; while answering any questions by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu according to service standards and get to know and build a rapport with regular guests.
Handles guest orders, prepare drinks beverages, and modify as per guest’s requests, checks the quality and consistency before serving.
Adheres to cash handling and register policies; accurately inputs orders in the POS and will assist in cashiering and billing.
Cleaning duties and clears tables and plates, glassware etc. when required.
Ensures smooth bar operations and high-quality standards and monitors the par stock and inventory in the store.
Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee beans supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for the coffee bar
Keep equipment well operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; reporting to supervisor for repair needs
Basic Requirements:
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee / commercial brand.
Great English communication skills and customer service skills.
Warm and inviting personality.
Must have full knowledge on a wide variety of hot and cold beverage preparation methods and ingredients.
Must be experienced in latte art.
Should be social media Savvy.
