Logistics Officer Required in Dubai

 Track suppliers and ensure timely delivery to customers as per the company’s delivery commitment, which shall improve the company’s cash conversion cycle (CCC)


Should pay special attention to orders with a letter of credit (LC) or liquidated damage (LD) and ensure timely
delivery and document submission to the bank as per LC requirements without incurring any additional cost.

Should have knowledge of import/export clearance requirements in the Middle East and Africa, especially on product
regulation (ESMA/ ECAS, COC, SABER) and other ministry approvals such as TRA, MOFAIC, chemical, etc., and pre-organize them wherever possible for smooth customs clearance and delivery.

Ensure to arrange all logistical documents as per the customer contract, which must comply with local customs
and VAT authorities.

Optimize shipping costs by negotiating with various freight forwarders and arranging the shipment as per project
requirements.

Should have a thorough knowledge of all the latest ICC Incoterms (2020), and all shipments should be handled as per agreed incoterms with the customer or supplier.

Should be a very good team player and share logistical knowledge, such as the latest customs update, and regulations with sales and project teams, and should be ready to accept any challenges in the future as per the company’s requirements.

Should have effective communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
