We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations, provide strategic financial guidance, and work closely with our in-house tech team to automate financial data processes. This role is critical in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance in various international markets, and driving the financial strategy to support the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the company, including planning, risk management, and reporting.
Develop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
Manage cash flow efficiently, ensuring timely transactions with payment processors and vendors.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports for different stakeholders, including shareholders and department heads.
Collaborate with the in-house tech team to automate and optimize financial processes.
Provide strategic financial insights and leadership for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations across all operational regions.
Manage and develop the finance department to achieve excellence in performance.
Serve as a key link between finance and technology teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, with a significant portion in financial controller roles.
Extensive experience in the eCommerce industry, dealing with multiple payment gateways and complex online financial transactions.
Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
Proven skills in financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a multi-currency environment.
Expertise in financial management software and ERP systems.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent teamwork skills.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws in Ireland, the USA, and Dubai.
Exceptional communication skills, adept at presenting complex financial data clearly.
Technological proficiency, with a keen interest in financial process automation.
