Orthodontic technician
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Orthotic Technician located in Dubai. The Orthotic Technician will be responsible for designing and constructing orthotic devices such as braces and splints. Day-to-day tasks will include evaluating patient needs, taking measurements, creating plaster molds, fabricating custom devices, and ensuring proper fit and function of devices.
Qualifications
Associate's degree or higher in Orthotics and Prosthetics or a related field
Proven experience in orthotic fabrication and fitment or similar technical experience
Strong understanding of human anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology
Solid knowledge of fabrication materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes
Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients and work closely with other healthcare professionals
Ability to function independently, manage workload, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Professional certification in Orthotics or related field is a plus
Experience with CAD software is a plus
