Key Responsibilities
Accounting operations:
Perform daily accounting activities including, journal entries and book maintenance, AP, AR, GL, Payroll and Reconciliations.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensure compliance local tax regulation and filing within UAE.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Prepare quarterly and annual revenue and cost budgets with senior management.
Analyze performance against budget and act as advisor to management
Audit and Risk Management
Review procurement orders to ensure risks and errors are mitigated
Review pricing to ensure risks and errors are mitigated
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience using accounting software and MS Excel
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
Experience in the interior design industry is a plus
