Responsibilities Manage month-end closing process, monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and timely resolution of variances. Preparation and posting of monthly entries requested for the monthly/quarterly closing processes. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Maintain inventory levels by documenting merchandise returns or exchanges Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable Experience in Profit & Loss statements Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Manage the Revenue Recognition process, send Invoices to customers, manage the COGS accruals, and share the reports with the management. Prepare monthly management reporting and provide comments on movements. Ensure that all financial records are accurate and timely for annual audits. Work with the wider finance team, and other business units to improve efficiency including documenting process improvement. Ad-hoc duties as requested by the line manager.
Qualifications & Skills Required
4+ years of experience in similar finance roles. Highly efficient and trustworthy A university degree in accounting or finance, MBA is an added advantage. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and execute tasks efficiently. Availability to work in flexible shifts which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Meticulous attention to detail in transaction processing and record-keeping. Experience in UAE / GCC is required. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the company.
