We are looking for an experienced 5 year+ in-house on-site Full time Financial Accountant that could manage payroll, monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements for our company. The candidate will need to have experience in a medical clinic in Dubai. Financial Accountant's responsibilities include Payroll, staff commission calculations including bonuses, budgeting, managing tax payments, and performing internal audits. You will act as a consultant for senior managers, conducting cost and revenues analyses. To be qualified for this role, you should have a degree in Accounting and relevant work experience.
Ultimately, you will ensure all our accounting transactions comply with the law.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management and Processing including all staff commission calculations for 15 practitioners. Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities) Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements) Forecast costs and revenues Manage tax payments Organize internal audits and work with external auditors Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department) Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments Analyze financial trends Vat Filling & Return Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Requirements
Background in healthcare and medical industry for 5 year+ Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role Proven work experience in the medical industry including insurance payments to clinics. Payroll experience via WPS including commission and bonus calculations. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software Xero In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures Solid knowledge of accounting regulations Excellent math skills with an attention to detail Time-management abilities Confidentiality in all practices and clear reporting principles to management. BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field Additional certification will be advantage Knowledge of UAE VAT Law Good organizational and time-management abilities Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in the medical/healthcare industry for at least 5 years and experience with payroll using xero software, as well as the general accountant duties.
