 Key Responsibilities:


Kitchen Management:
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Production Management:
Plan and execute food production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe specifications, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
Menu Development:
Lead the creation and development of innovative, culturally inspired menus that reflect the essence of Alkebulan Dining Hall.
Conduct regular menu reviews and make adjustments based on customer feedback, seasonal availability, and emerging culinary trends.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional menus and special event offerings.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage kitchen budgets, controlling costs while maximizing profitability.
Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure exceptional dining experiences by maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Address customer inquiries and feedback professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar role in a high-volume dining establishment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, food production, and inventory management.
Exceptional menu development skills with a creative flair for culinary innovation.
Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
Passion for African cuisine and a deep appreciation for cultural culinary traditions.
