Duties & Responsibilities: Guide and train junior service colleagues on product knowledge, daily operation and guest satisfaction Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members / guests and team members Greet all guests and members politely and promptly, proactively anticipate needs to enhance experience, demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions Promptly respond to all guest/member requests and strive to go the extra mile Present strong knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparations, and specials; make recommendations based upon preferences, special requests, or allergies Thorough understanding of all cocktails, wine, beer and beverages Enter all transactions accordingly into POS system, issue accurate checks, and close sales timely and according to policies and procedures Be attentive to any food allergies. Prior to delivery of food, ensure all orders are complete and accurate according to individual specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas at all times, complete daily stocking, and adhere to food safety standards. Set up and keep the pristine appearance of the restaurant consistent throughout the day whilst assisting with all opening and closing duties Support daily opening and closing responsibilities are completed accurately and consistent with the departments SOP. Maintain all equipment and be sure it is properly handled and maintained. Any other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications:
At least 2+ years of previous serving experience in a full service environment, preferably at a fast paced, high end restaurant, club, or resort. Preferred knowledge of HACCP & local food safety standards; possesses or can obtain State Food Safety Certificate. Strong knowledgeable of wines and beverage. Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service. Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members. Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additional hours may be required due to business demands. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages desired. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing and walking.
