The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support). Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls Act as first point of contact for visitors Managing security and telecommunications systems Handling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence Transferring calls as necessary Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time Receiving, sorting, distributing and dispatching daily mail Preparing vouchers Handling transcription, printing, photocopying and faxing Recording and maintaining office expenses Managing office inventory such as stationery, equipment and furniture Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree Ability to maintain a positive attitude Excellent communication skills Previous experience of 2-3 years in a similar role
