ICT Specialist
For a leading logistics company based in JLT (not far from the Metro).
Dubai – 12-14k per month + private medical and travel insurance.
Ticket and bonus.
In this role you will be responsible for installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues.
Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
Implement security measures
Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
Install and update company software and hardware as needed
Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
Proven experience of 5 years in the same role, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Keen attention to detail
Good organization, time management and prioritization
Efficient troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
Great customer service and interpersonal skills
